See Gettysburg is a web site dedicated to sharing, and
thus preserving, our nations greatest battlefield through the
art of still photography. The still photograph speaks to us like
no other media, for it is a moment in time captured for eternity.
Americans have always had a romance with the still photograph,
and that is why I have decided to use this media to capture the
beauty of Gettysburg.
On July 1-3 1863, the beautiful landscape
around Gettysburg became the scene of the largest battle ever
fought on American soil. Men from both North and South fought
valiantly, while the fate of our Republic hung on the
outcome. The sacrifice of these great men must not be forgotten, for
it was in these beautiful fields that the fate of our nation was
decided. The photographs on this site are dedicated in their
memory.
I hope you take the time to browse the web site and enjoy the
photographs. If you
have visited the Gettysburg Battlefield before I hope the

bring back fond memories, maybe a vacation and time spent with
family and friends. For those that have not visited maybe in

goal is to assure the preservation of places like Gettysburg, so
